Wii Games of May!

The Nintendo Wii definitely wins the quantity battle this month (compared to PS3 and Xbox 360), but does quality match up? 

Highlights for the month of May 2009 include Punch-Out!!!, EA Sports Active, Rolling Stone Drum King, and Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball.

	Party Pigs Farmyard Games

	Swing through the jungle in DK’s craziest adventure ever! You’ll run, jump, backflip, and punch your way to greatness—now with new controls on Wii. You’ll use the buttons and Control Stick on the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers to move DK, and you’ll swing the Wii Remote controller to grab objects and clap with devastating power. 	Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
	Get ready for a story so epic it could only unfold in the corridors of the world's largest museum - the Smithsonian Institution. Museum guard-turned entrepreneur Larry Daly discovers that his favorite exhibits, and some of his best friends, from New York's Natural History Museum are being shipped off to the archives at the Smithsonian. Larry gets a distress call from the miniature cowboy, Jedediah, reporting that Egyptian ruler Kahmunrah and a trio of heinous henchmen - namely Ivan the Terrible, Napoleon and Al Capone - are plotting to take over the museum, then the world. Speeding to the nation¿s capitol, Larry is clearly in over his head. But with some impressive new pals, including the irrepressible Amelia Earhart, along with familiar friends Teddy Roosevelt and Octavius, Larry will stop at nothing to restore the Smithsonian before dawn.
	Destiny Of Zorro
	Players will make an incredible action-packed journey through the sun-scorched coast and desert landscape of early 1800's Spanish California playing as the infamous Zorro, the swashbuckling defender of the oppressed whose secret identity is the fictional wealthy caballero Don Diego de la Vega. Using the unique properties of the Wii controller, players can whip, slice and of course perform Zorro's signature Z' slash move to bring his foes to justice. Players will discover the secrets behind the origin of Zorro himself. The game also carries forward some of the explosive plot lines suggested by recent Zorro properties, such as the recent blockbuster Hollywood movies.
	Klonoa
	Help Klonoa save Phantomile, a land formed by the dreams of its inhabitants, and recently besieged by an unknown evil. Klonoa’s breathtaking journey takes him through a series of increasingly difficult stages across multiple kingdoms as he strives to save his friends and homeland. Throughout his quest, Klonoa is aided by his friend Hewpoe, a benevolent spirit who resides in the ring from which Klonoa is able to fire his Wind Bullet. The Wind Bullet gives Klonoa the ability to grab and inflate his enemies and use them to his advantage.
	Pirates Vs. Ninjas Dodgeball
	Pit scurvy against stealth and cutlass against katana in the ultimate playground sport of dodgeball. Perform powerful special moves and melee attacks to eliminate your opponents. Choose your team and take them through a unique story mode or team up with or against your friends in multiplayer mode mayhem! Pirates versus Ninjas is a social phenomenon; starting in online chatrooms and forums and growing to become a topic that everyone under 35 is aware of. It¿s a joke that has spawned online communities, Facebook applications and countless websites devoted to the subject. Finally, the phenomenon has become a video game, allowing millions of people all over the world to settle the debate once and for all. Whose side are you on?
	Puzzle Kingdom
	Puzzle Kingdoms challenges players to plan out strategic attacks in order to defeat their opponents. Order troops across the map, conquering cities through innovative puzzle gameplay. Players build and manage armies led by heroic commanders to save the world of Etheria from the brink of destruction. By matching corresponding gems on the game board, players will both inflict damage on enemy forces while building mana that can be used to perform devastating attacks that will cripple their opponents.
	Help Wanted
	Help Wanted allows you to choose from over fifty odd jobs, including: Haunted House Monster, Clown, Make-up Artist, Pinch Hitter, Pizza Chef, Stunt Car Driver, Sumo Referee, Action Hero and Sushi Master. Which also features multiple difficulty levels that change up the game play elements and a multiplayer feature that allows for head-to-head play on up to fifteen different jobs.
	Punch-Out!!
	One of the biggest names in boxing returns after a 15-year hiatus. In Punch-Out!! you play as young up-and-coming fighter Little Mac who, with the help of his ringside trainer Doc Lewis, is working his way through the ranks of a wide variety of boxing caricatures, each with their own patterns of attacks. Grab a Wii Remote controller in one hand and a Nunchuk controller in the other and step back into the ring with a modern update of the classic Punch-Out!!
	Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Wheelie Breakers
	A new era has dawned and Yu-Gi-Oh! returns with a fast paced twist on card dueling. Yusei Fudo and Jack Atlus are the hottest new duelists in New Domino City and have taken dueling to the streets in a hot new motorsport called "Wheelie Breakers" that combines traditional card dueling with Duel Runnner racing. Players climb upon their Duel Runnner motorcycles and summon monsters from their decks to battle each other as they race the streets or track. Their monsters use unique attack powers to try and defeat other riders competing against you. By defeating a rider you steal his summoned monsters and add them to your deck. This is a no holds barred battle for track supremacy in a combination of wheel and deal!
	Rock Band Track Pack: Classic Rock

	EA Sports Active
	Developed in collaboration with fitness expert Bob Greene, best known as Oprah's personal trainer, EA SPORTS Active provides a fun, inexpensive and easy to maintain regimen designed to encourage physical fitness and healthy living. A combination of a wide variety of interactive activities and exercises, linked together into an ever-changing circuit training routine targeting the muscles of the upper and lower body, as well as providing cardio for a healthy heart, it is the perfect exercise option for every member of a modern household.
	Rolling Stone Drum King
	Developed exclusively for the Nintendo Wii We Rock: Drum King takes full advantage of the innovative motion-sensing capabilities of the console. The game is played by moving the remotes as if you're - air drumming. Different drums - including snare, toms, hi-hat and bass - are simulated by waving the Wii Remotes while pressing a different button. Wannabe drummers know exactly when and what drum to hit thanks to colored indicators that scroll down the screen in time to the tune. The difficulty can be scaled too, so that beginners can pick-up-and-rock-out, whereas experienced beat masters can crank up the challenge to 11. 	The Munchables

	UP
	Based on the Disney - Pixar animated feature of the same name, Up The Video Game takes players on the Nintendo Wii on an exotic adventure with Carl Fredricksen and his young sidekick, Wilderness Explorer Russell, as they set off on a wild journey through the undiscovered jungles of South America. Players will be able to experience all four main characters from the movie -- Carl, Russell, Dug the lovable dog or Kevin the prehistoric bird -- and will enjoy the action both in a single player campaign and with friends via the game's 2-4 player multiplayer support.
	Ultimate Duck Hunting
	Ultimate Duck Hunting, simulation game that features both shooting and retrieving. Choose your dog (yellow, chocolate, or black Labrador retriever) and train him to respond to your commands. Gear up with name-brand guns, camouflage, and decoys. Set up decoys, use duck calls, and become a crack shot (someone skilled in shooting) using the Wii Remote to aim and fire at mallard, hen, black, and teal ducks.
