Nintendo Wii Games of April!

When comparing the big three consoles, the Nintendo Wii takes the crown for the quantity of releases for the month of April.  Lets be frank though... quality vs. quality has always been a bit of a challenge for the Wii.  With that being said, we are starting to see the results of developers/publishers re-focused efforts due to the success of the Wii platform.

Highlights for the month of April 2009 include ExciteBots: Trick Racing, Samurai Shodown Anthology, and Gravity.

Check out the full list of new video game releases (USA) for the month of April 2009 on Nintendo Wii!  As always, release dates are subject to change, slip, slide, and be fairly unpredictable.

	Gravity
	Professor Heinz Wolff's Gravity is a game of 100 set-'em-up and knock-'em-down puzzles, all based on the laws of physics. Players construct devices from building blocks, levers, conduits, and other parts. True to the title, most puzzles are solved by harnessing the force of gravity, through a rolling ball, a falling block, or other such event. Some puzzles have players creating contraptions of Rube Goldberg-like complexity, although many have more than one solution, and often the simplest works as well as any. The Wii edition of the game also includes 20 "sandbox" levels, for player experimentation, as well as four multiplayer mini-games.
	Deer Drive
	Deer Drive meshes hunting simulation with arcade style pick-up-and-play action and pacing for an exciting gaming experience. Deer Drive is the first deer hunting game that features two-player simultaneous play. Additionally, Deer Drive features a multitude of game play modes, including four player party mode, true-to-life sound effects, passive and aggressive prey, and a slew of hunting weapons.  Challenging for casual and hard-core players alike Ethical hunting integral to the game
	Walt Disney Pictures Presents Hannah Montana The Movie
	Hannah Montana The Movie, join Hannah Montana and live the rock star life while you get to know Miley Stewart and explore the world she left back in Tennessee. Perform as Hannah Montana to raise funds or play as Miley Stewart and explore Crowley Corners. Rock out at 6 different concert venues and perform to 12 Hannah hit-songs. Find spotlights that lead to special performance spots where Hannah can interact and jam with other band members on stage. Dance to the beat and trigger exciting dance moves for Hannah on stage, and plus create dance sequences to earn extra high scores. Unlock the Hannah Box and help Miley transform ordinary items into sensational outfits for Hannah Montana. Customize and accessorize Miley and Hannah with two different styles.
	Escape The Museum
	In Escape the Museum, a devastating earthquake has rocked the foundations of the National Museum of History and players must help Susan Anderson, who was knocked unconscious by falling debris while searching the museum for survivors. Escape from the crumbling building to the safety outside. Thwarted by doors blocked with rubble and tripped alarm systems, players wander through the museum's maze of 12 different hunt and find areas and 25 action-packed adventure scenes, using the Wii Remote to uncover hidden exits and save priceless archaeological artifacts. Along the way, players will solve puzzles, consult a map and access hints to help them inch closer to freedom and a joyful reunion with Susan's lost daughter.
	Samurai Shodown Anthology
	The Samurai Shodown Anthology is a compilation of games from the groundbreaking SNK weapon-based fighting Samurai Shodown series. Celebrate the history of the franchise through the years by battling as one of the greatest Samurai of all time, through six separate adventures in this incredible collection. The collection includes six games from the series including Samurai Shodown I, II, III, IV, V and the never before released in North America Samurai Shodown VI.
	ExciteBots: Trick Racing
	High-speed action. Robotic insect and animal racers. Wii Wheel controls. Bowling, poker, clowns – and sandwiches! Add them all together and you get the wild, nonstop fun of Excitebots: Trick Racing.  This game takes the big-air thrills and simple pick-up-and-play controls of Excite Truck and ramps up the fun with a constant barrage of funky challenges and mini-games performed at blinding speed. Players shoot goals, throw pies and even play poker in the middle of rowdy races around off-road tracks. Six players can race online via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection in both Excite Race and Poker Race modes. If friends can't join online, players can exchange ghost data via WiiConnect24; and challenge their friends to outdo their most daring tricks. (Note that broadband access is required for online play.
	Puzzle Kingdom
	Puzzle Kingdoms brings players engaging, classic turn-based gameplay with a captivating fantasy storyline. Fast and unique puzzle mechanics make building troops, managing armies, fortifying castles, and lauching assaults addictive in any campaign. Customizable kingdoms and innovative play combine to create one of the greatest games in the puzzle RPG genre.
	Destiny Of Zorro
	Players will make an incredible action-packed journey through the sun-scorched coast and desert landscape of early 1800's Spanish California playing as the infamous Zorro, the swashbuckling defender of the oppressed whose secret identity is the fictional wealthy caballero Don Diego de la Vega. Using the unique properties of the Wii controller, players can whip, slice and of course perform Zorro's signature Z' slash move to bring his foes to justice. Players will discover the secrets behind the origin of Zorro himself. The game also carries forward some of the explosive plot lines suggested by recent Zorro properties, such as the recent blockbuster Hollywood movies.
