Halo Reach fans may have reached the end of their trial with the game's multiplayer beta last week, but not to worry! The good news of an official release should give you new hope -- and a new date to count down to -- for your next jetpackin' kick.

September 14 is the launch for Bungie's last Halo game before moving on to other projects. We'll have to wait and see if whatever they have planned recreates the cultural milestone the Halo series has had on gaming.
